Exporting Your Maps

MapVS supports multiple export formats so you can share your value stream maps with stakeholders, include them in presentations, or archive them.

Available export formats

• PDF — A print-ready document including the map visualisation, metrics table, and analytics summary. Ideal for sharing with management or printing for the shop floor.
• PNG — A high-resolution image of the map canvas. Good for embedding in presentations or documents.
• CSV — Raw stage data in spreadsheet format. Useful for further analysis in Excel or other tools.
• JSON — Complete map data in structured format. Used for API integrations or programmatic analysis.

How to export

1. Open the map you want to export.
2. Click the Export button in the top toolbar.
3. Select your desired format.
4. The file downloads to your device.

Export availability by plan

CSV and JSON export requires a Starter plan or higher. PDF and PNG export are available on all plans. The Pro plan includes branded exports with your company logo.

Sharing without exporting

Pro and Team users can generate shareable links that give view-only access to a map without requiring the recipient to have a MapVS account.
